My review

“If you want to know what goes on inside that head of hers, then Be worth it.”

Oh gosh, if you thought Binding 13 was painful, brace yourself; you’re in for a wild ride. I thought we’d get some light moments at the start of this book, but nooo, I was so wrong. Two pages into chapter one, and I was already on the verge of tears. It was so beautiful, but it hurt so bad. At the beginning of the book, I understood that Shannon’s mother was trying to protect her, but now? Every time she speaks, she just makes me so angry. And her dad? He can burn in hellfire for all I care. On the other hand, I love Johnny’s parents. Kavanaugh Mama for president! And the sweet, slow-burning romance? Perfection. Oh, and Gibsie… I love him so much. Apart from that, I think the story ended beautifully. Honestly, I wish it didn’t have to end. Who cares if it’s 802 pages long? I need more! I also got to see Shannon blossom into herself, and it was so beautiful to witness. It was honestly such a beautiful story—heartbreaking, raw, and deeply moving.
