One thing to note about me is that I personally wouldn’t pick up a dark romance book. I have seen this book on Instagram and TikTok many times, but I didn’t pick it up. One of my friends had read it and convinced me to pick it up one day.

“Tristan Cane was the first morally gray MMC I’ve ever read. Like Morgana, I tried to understand him, but he completely confused me. I sympathized with his trauma, but he was so unreadable and frustrating that I found it hard to like him at first. However, as his story unfolded, he gradually started to grow on me.
As for Morgana, I love her, and I love the FMC. Gosh, she’s funny. The things she gets herself into. But anyway, I love her mom, more or less, and I salute her for putting up with Tristan. I also skipped a lot of the smut; sue me, lol. However, at the time, I felt no connection towards them as a couple. I am currently on book two, which is part two of their story.”
