Honestly, I am truly proud of my reading this month; my goal for this month was to prioritize reading more and lower my screen time. As for screen time, it hasn’t decreased much because I have been alternating between my Kindle and iPad for reading, and doomscrolling hasn’t been reduced to the amount I would like. However, this month I have managed to read a total of 5 books. Yay!
Books of June

I am in a club called The Reading Quest, created by comfortlibrary_ (Qady). This month’s challenge was the rainbow challenge. Where we had to read books that matched the colour of the rainbow, I was doing pretty well until the mood reader in me kicked in. Thankfully, the Mystery Round saved me. We each picked a number, then Qady would assign us the pages we had to read for the week. I picked the number 3, so I had to read 94 pages, and that kept me accountable.
Fable Stats
Fable stats coming up; I have never really paid much attention to my Fable stats because I wasn’t reading consistently. However, that changed this month. I was curious to see how my stats would look after reading so much this month. Here are my reading stats for this month
Reading Streaks and Page Stats

Most Read Genre This Month
Romantasy was my most-read genre this month
The author I read the most this month was Tessa Hale, who writes primarily paranormal romance, romantasy, and reverse harem. Mom, if you’re reading this, I don’t want to hear about it. Thanks. This was exactly what I needed after reading Killer Instinct by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.
I started with a couple of Tessa’s books last month, but this month her books had me in a chokehold. I made it my mission to read whatever I wanted without worrying about being judged; because of that, I can proudly say I did not fall into a reading slump this month.
Media Consumed
Movies and TV Shows
It Starts With A Kiss 1 & 2.
I spent a lot of time watching this 2007-2008 Taiwanese classic. It’s an obsession at this point. I’ve also watched the Korean version, but the Taiwanese version will always be the best portrayal of Naoki Irie and Kotoko Aihara.
Love After Divorce.
I haven’t had a Netflix subscription in years, but I renewed it to watch this show. In my opinion, I enjoy international dating shows more than those produced by mainstream media.
America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
Season Two came out on June 16, 2026. I’m still on episode one, but it’s nothing like what I expected it to be.
Music
I haven’t been listening a lot this month, but I will list a couple I was listening to while writing this blog post
